Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of setence card learning media on literacy reading comprehension of students in low class. The type of research in this study is Quasi Experimental Design. The sample of this study is class III.1 and class III.2 SDN Cipanengah CBM. Data collection wa carried out with tests consisting of pretest and posttest. Learning carried out in the experimental class uses learning media, while learning in the control class does not use learning media. Learning is carried out 2 times wih the same subject matter. Calculation results show the experimental class has a higher average learning result compared tho the class.The average final grade of the exsperimental class is 85 while the control class is 78. Other than that the test result from the t test of two independent samples show the result of sig. 0,001, which means that the value is <0,05. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the use of setence card media on leteracy reading comprehension of student in the lower class giving influence.
