This study aims to describe the improvement of speaking skills through the implementation of guessing models in high class. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a research design using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models which were carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing actions and observations, and reflection. Participants in this study were students of class V-B SDN Dayeuhluhur CBM in the city of Sukabumi 2018/2019 school year as many as 30 students, consisting of 14 male students and 16 female students. Data collection techniques in this study used tests in the form of pretest and posttest. While the non-test technique is in the form of observation, field notes and documentation. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. The results of the pre-cycle speaking skills test showed completeness of 30% or 3 students, the first cycle was 57% or 17 students, and the second cycle was 83% or 25 students with KKM 70. The overall improvement with the calculation of the gain formula obtained a score of 0 , 52 in the medium category. This research concludes that speaking skills can be improved through the implementation of high-class word guessing models.
