Author Guidelines
MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
General Requirements
Authors wishing to submit manuscripts to Truth de Journal must carefully observe the following general requirements:
- The submitted article must align with the Focus and Scope of Truth de Journal.
- The article must be original, meaning it has not been published in any journal or book in any language.
- Articles may be submitted in either Indonesian or English.
- The title, abstract (100-200 words), and keywords (3-5 keywords) must be provided in both English and Indonesian.
- Manuscripts should be submitted online via the website: Truth de Journal.
Format and Structure
Manuscripts submitted to Truth de Journal must be provided in soft copy (MS Word) with the following format:
- Paper size: A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm) with margins: left 3 cm, top 3 cm, right 2.5 cm, bottom 3 cm.
- The text must be a minimum of 15 pages and a maximum of 20 pages.
- The manuscript should be structured as follows:
Title
- The title must be in bold, using Times New Roman font size 14, capitalized at the beginning of each word, centered, with foreign terms or borrowed words italicized, single-spaced, and a maximum of 12-15 words.
Author Identification
Format as follows:
- Author's Name: Full name without academic or professional titles, and must not be abbreviated.
- Author's Affiliation: The institution or organization where the author works or studies. The affiliation should relate to the author’s competence, responsibilities, and legal consequences associated with the originating institution.
- Email: The email address provided must be active for correspondence and should originate from the institution.
Abstract
- The abstract should include: purpose (research question), research methods, results, and impact of the research (answers to the research question). It must be written in Indonesian using Times New Roman size 12, 1.5 spaced, aligned to the right. The abstract should contain 150-200 words.
Keywords
- Keywords should be arranged alphabetically and must consist of at least two and a maximum of five keywords, separated by semicolons (;).
Introduction
- The introduction should be concise and identify the legal topic to be discussed throughout the manuscript. Before stating the objectives, the author should provide sufficient information and a brief literature review to note existing solutions, highlight the best from previous research, indicate what the author aims to achieve (to show limitations), and illustrate the scientific benefits or novelty of the manuscript. This section should conclude with an explanation of the urgency, a clear statement of the research objectives, and mention of research challenges.
Research Methods
- This section should include the research design, research targets (population and sample or subjects), data collection techniques, research procedures, and data analysis.
Results and Discussion
- This section should present the findings of the research based on field data collected through surveys, questionnaires, documents, interviews, observations, and other data collection techniques. The research findings should be analyzed using interpretation and synthesis with specific theories (which may also stem from the author's insights).
Conclusion
- The conclusion should summarize the answers to the research objectives, potential applications or development of the research, and recommendations for future research. It should not repeat the abstract or merely describe the research results. Provide a clear explanation regarding possible applications and/or suggestions related to the research findings.
References
- References must be managed using reference management software (Mendeley or Zotero). They should be arranged alphabetically and written in Times New Roman size 12. The reference list should consist of 80% national and international journals, theses, dissertations, and proceedings; 20% should come from books or other sources, excluding Wikipedia and personal blogs. A minimum of 10 references is required, with conference proceedings or research results from the last 8 (eight) years.
