Abstract

The purpose of this research done to described the application of experiment methods in their experiences IPA to increase the skills to scientific thinking skills of primary school student. Methods was used in the study research is clasroom action research (CAR) Kemmis and Taggart model, which consisted of two cycles. The object of study this research is the grade student of 5.3 in SDN Cipanengah CBM of Sukabumi which involved 41 students. Data collection was taken out in November 2018, while the research action was taken out in April - May 2019. The instruments of data collecions was used observations sheets, interview guidelines, field notes and documentations. The results of cycle I, showed that the students scientific thinking skills obtained a classical score of 76, that score included fairly scientific category. In cycle II show that scientific thinking skills of students obtain achievment of classical scores of 84 in the scientific category. The research concluded that through the aplication of experiment method can increase the scientific thinking skills of student in learning IPA of grade 5.3 SDN Cipanengah CBM of Sukabumi academic year 2018/2019.
