Abstract

This study aims to find out how the board of the two mosques are efforts in economic empowerment of the ummah. To obtain a deep and accurate result of this research is focused on two mosques located inthe center of Karang Tengah Village Districts of Cibadak Regency of Sukabumi Assalam Karang Tengah and Nurul Huda mosques.

This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approaach. The author uses data collection techniques through interviews, documentation, and observation. Data processing by means of descriptive analysis that is a technical writing by describing all data obtained through interviews, documentation, and library materials and analyze it with guided sources written. From the results of research, the author analyze the strategy of mosque management used both mosques are the same that is managing the financial in Baitulmaal. The transparency of the funds managed by the two mosque board is very trusted by the donors so that the mosque is more properous with the help of the fund and can help the economy jama’ah mosque. Then the potential of each mosque is not much different among them is a strategic location, profeddional human resources, adequate infrastructure, good facilities for economic empowerment of the Ummah.
