Bangunan pantai sangat diperlukan untuk melindungi wilayah pesisir agar aman terhadap berbagai macam
ancaman yang datang dari laut. Pondok Bali Subang yang termasuk kawasan Pantura merupakan salah satu
kawasan pesisir yang ancaman nya berupa erosi pantai dan banjir rob. Erosi pantai dan banjir rob sering
terjadi di wilayah pantura subang terutama di wilayah Desa Legon Kulon dan desa Mayangan, yang
terletak di bibir Pantai Utara (Pantura) Laut Jawa.Untuk merencanakan bangunan Pantai di wilayah
Pondok Bali menggunakan Program Mike 21, dengan arah angin dominan dari arah timur dan timur laut, Hs
arah timur sebesar 0.2074 , Ts arah timur 2.1610, panjang garis pantai kurang lebih 68 km,sedimentasi 8.663
m3/tahun. Bangunan yang di rencanakan berupa 2 buah jetty sepanjang 300 m, Pemecah gelombang
(breakwater) di lepas pantai, Kombinasi Bangunan Jetty dan Groin. Selain penanganan berupa struktur
bangunan juga perlunya penanganan non struktural berupa penanaman bakau dan edukasi untuk masyarakat.
