This study is motivated by the lack of previous researchers examining the level of visual thinking in students' mathematical communication. This research aims to describe the level of visual thinking in students' mathematical communication. The research method is literature research or literature review (literature review, literature research). Research activities were carried out in a structured way through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, discussion to conclusion. Technically, the research steps were carried out as follows: 1) the preparation stage, determining the fixed and dependent variables, determining the data to be analysed and selecting articles that are in accordance with the variables in the title, 2) the implementation stage, searching and collecting articles, taking the results of the articles obtained, and 3) the data analysis stage, this stage is used to determine the level of visual thinking and indicators of students' mathematical communication which will be useful to determine the level of visual thinking of students' mathematical communication. The results showed that there is a relationship between the level of visual thinking and students' mathematical communication, so that the levels of visual thinking in mathematical communication are: Non Visual Level, Local Visual Level, and Global Visual Level.
fendiyanto fendiyantoElly SusantiFauziyah Nafisatul Qur'ani

https://jurnal.ummi.ac.id/index.php/peka/article/view/2497

The background of this research is that the rapid pace of technology today creates new abilities, namely computational thinking ability to be improved. In addition, Indonesian culture also needs to be introduced to students today. This study aims to improve students' computational thinking ability using Scratch with the concept of Indonesian culture and Math-trail in mathematics learning. The subject of this research is class VIII students of Eka Sakti Junior High School, Banyumanik District, Semarang City with a total of 32 students with details of 14 girls 18 boys. Students' computational thinking ability is still low because there is no learning media that supports the improvement of students' computational thinking ability. This research uses quantitative methods. The suggestion from this research is the need to conduct further research that is more in depth to find out what factors make the increase.
Bagus Surya MaulanaAdi Nur Cahyono

https://jurnal.ummi.ac.id/index.php/peka/article/view/2462

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of knowing the use of geogebra software on students' learning interest in square and rectangular flat building materials. The subjects of this research were 28 students in class V of Madrasah Darul Ulum Mancilan 12 women and 16 men. This study used quantitative descriptive and the instrument used, namely non-test containing questionnaires in the form of student statements on the interest in learning flat building material assisted by geogebra software with 20 statements consisting of 4 indicator. The results of this study showed an indicator of feeling happy the average percentage obtained 81.1% of the category was very high, both indicators of student interest Resulting in an average percentage of 82.8% in the very high category, the three indicators of student engagement with an average percentage of 72.5% in the high category and finally the engagement indicator produced an average percentage of 78.7% in the high category. The overall percentage of the analysis of student learning interest indicators resulted in 78.6% being in the high category.
Vika Zida AkmaliahAndika Budi Setyo Lestari

https://jurnal.ummi.ac.id/index.php/peka/article/view/2499

This study was motivated by the low mathematics problem-solving ability of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Belimbing Hulu. The purpose of the research was to improve students' math problem-solving skills by using Make-A-Match Cooperative Learning Model. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach with a form of classroom action research consisting of two cycles. The research instruments used were problem-solving ability test questions, observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of research and data processing from 22 students, the percentage of students' math problem-solving completeness increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely 59% to 100%, these results show that students are able to achieve the average. The increase in students' math problem-solving ability from cycle I to cycle II obtained an average of 67 to 83, these results indicate that the level of students' math problem-solving ability is in the high category. Furthermore, students' responses to the Make-A-Match Cooperative Learning Model were in the excellent category with an average student score of 80. So it can be concluded that the Make-A-Match Cooperative Learning Model can improve the mathematics problem-solving ability of seventh-grade students.
Nurapni Sopia SopiaOlenggius Jiran DoresHadidi Hadidi

https://jurnal.ummi.ac.id/index.php/peka/article/view/2386

The aim of the research is to find out what students’ interests and learning outcomes are who use the Discovery Learning model is higher than interest and learning outcomes of students who use conventional learning models. This type of quasi-experimental research with a pretest posttest nonequivalent control design group design. This research was carried out at MTs DDI Malunda for the 2023/2024 academic year. Where class VIII B is the experimental class and class VIII A is the control class with a saturated sampling technique. Data collection using questionnaires, test and observation sheets on the implementation of learning by teachers and students. Data analysis techniques use descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis the average score of the experimental class posttest questionnaire (89.96), the average score of the posttest questionnaire control class (75.69). For the average test score for the experimental class (86.53), while the score control class posttest average (61.23). Results show interest and learning outcomes mathematics students are taught using the Discovery Learning model more high compared to the interest and mathematics learning outcomes of the students being taught using conventional learning models. To test the hypothesis used are the T-Test and ManovaTest with sig values. Students’ interest in learning mathematics (0.000<0.05) and obtained a sigvalue. Student learning out comes (0.000<0.05) means H1 accepted. The conclusion is that students’ interests and learning outcomes in mathematics are using the Discovery Learning model is higher than interest and mathematics learning out comes of students who use the learning model conventional.
Amran YahyaGita ZafitriAna Muliana M

This study was undermined by a mathematical learning process that focused on the results resulting in a decrease in student interest and less varied learning experience, which had an impact on the metacognitive skills of the student. The study aims to identify the influence of learning interest and learning experience on student's metacognitive skills. This research uses field studies with a quantitative approach. So it can be concluded that: 1) interest in learning has a strong relationship ( 0,901) and has a positive and significant influence on metacognitive skills of 81.2%; 2) learning experiences have a strong link ( 0,869) and have a positive, significant impact on meta-cognitive skills of 75.5%; 3) learning interests and learning experiences are strongly linked ( 0,915) and have an active and significant effect on meta - cognitive abilities of 83.8% both partially and simultaneously.
Fara Aufa SilmiMulyaningrum Lestari

The aim of this research is based on students' needs for teaching materials in vector analysis courses. This research develops teaching materials in the form of student worksheets (LKM) based on guided discovery in vector product material. Development model using 4D. The research subjects were 11 UNSERA Mathematics Education study program students. Research instruments include questionnaires, observation sheets and interviews. The conclusion from the research results is that LKM based on guided discovery is valid, practical and effective. This LKM teaching material can be a support in vector analysis lectures on vector multiplication material.
Ria Noviana AgusUsep Sholahudin
