Abstract

SC delivery is carried out by incision on the abdominal wall and uterus. The ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) method is a new technique in anesthesia with evidence-based perioperative care principles, a multidisciplinary approach and carried out in a team, continuous audits are carried out and continue to be developed. This study aims to conduct a study on the implementation of the ERAS method in reducing the length of stay. The method used in this study is a literature review by collecting data through literature information in the form of journals obtained from electronic tracing. There are 4 articles to be reviewed. From the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of ERAS during health services in the hospital provided effective interventions that occurred before, during and after surgery. The application of ERAS can reduce the length of stay without compromising the quality of service. The decrease in the length of stay is a parameter that is widely studied in the implementation of ERAS. So it can be concluded that patients who undergo surgery with the ERAS method get a better quality of service and one of the research parameters that significantly decreases is the length of stay.
