Abstract

Sukabumi regency is geographically elevation or different and diverse ground level. Each ground level does not always have an elevation difference or form a flat field between one place and another place so that it forms a slope such as cliffs and hills that are prone to avalanches.

This research aims to find out the value of slope stability using fellenius, safety factor, soil type. This data is taken directly by conducting sondir test directly in the field.

In the results of the analysis of slope stability analysis and landslide management using fellenius method on Gunung Batu road section – Purabaya got a safety factor value of 0,89 . Slope = 60°. Gamma value Y = 1.6 t/m³. Sliding angle Ø = 26°. Cohesion c = 0 t/m². Central point determination Xₒ ; Yₒ = 0 ; 10.5. Number of elements 9. Width 12,749.

Based on the calculation of the slice method with the value of slope safety factor and avalanche intensity, then the soil on the slope becomes unstable if the safety factor value is less than 1.5. The greater than 1.5 value of safety factors, then the condition of the slope soil shows in a safe condition.
